Hotel Cielo

My stay at Hotel Cielo was amazing. A real gem in Playa del Carmen. The owners Steven & Alejandra are a nice young couple and there pretty much all the time making sure that their guests are taken care of. Staff is courteous, knowledgeable and polite, always ready to answer any questions you may have about your trip and destinations. Cielo is on the corner of La Quinta (5Th Ave.). It is walking distance to everything, the beach, shopping, places to eat, have a drink & about 2 blocks from the bus station. Can't be situated any better. It is a clean, peaceful hotel with great A/C and a rooftop terrace with a great view of the Caribbean. Certain rooms have that same view. I loved their all natural soap & shampoo. The Cielo restaurant is well known for their seafood and was quite full nightly. So that means, it is delicious and fresh. The restaurant is a great place to start your day. For breakfast, we loved the Motulenos eggs, coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice & fresh fruit. Having breakfast with a view of the sea can never be bad. Hotel Cielo really lives up to it's name. Heaven.

Hotel Cielo is in a great location with very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are clean, attractive, the beds comfortable and the restaurant Carboncitos is pretty good too! I would definitely recommend Hotel Cielo, the price is very reasonable, a great room for the money!
