Opiniones Mexotik - San Pancho

(Original) The chef made us a special salmon plate to die for, when something on the menu, wasn’t available. The kale salad with rustic goat cheese and beetroot dressing was fantastic. I look forward to going back to try everything else on this unique, culinary menu.

(Original) Ate dinner every night while in San Francisco (or San Pancho) the cocktails crafted by Agus were incredible, and chef Daniel and his team made wonderful creations incorporating both local foods and urban flair. I cannot give enough good praises to this team, including Julia and the other make server who's name I forgot. The entire menu was fantastic, and we worked our way through lots of it during the 4 nights we dined there. We, annoyingly to myself, but unbeknownst to the staff, were the last table there every night, but were still welcomed with open arms into the magic of the experience. To top it off, they offer delicious desserts! After visiting the Carribbean and Pacific sides of Mexico, this was still the favorite restaurant. Thank you for wonderful nights of delicious foods! Compared to lesser quality meals at higher prices in other locations, in town, this was a budget friendly restaurant, with a much more upscale vibe. Overall, I want to return to town just for the delicious meals/drinks and magic that occurs where top-class food is produced out of a tiny kitchen, for many guests, without skipping a beat.

(Original) Beautiful Mexican staples with an artistic touch, as well as great alternatives (like a Buddha bowl). Great coffee, good internet, nice setting.

We love SanPancho! There are great restaurants in town, but without a doubt Mexotik shines above them all. Every dish is rich in unusal flavors and beautiful. The music, the staff and space all a pleasure to be part of. Relax and just enjoy every moment. The attention to not only the amazing food the experience of being there is well worth it!

Honestly....I have no idea who is posting the good reviews! We found this restaurant online and actually planned an overnight to San Pancho just to eat here after seeing all their photos, etc. When we arrived I thought we must have been in the wrong place! Nobody else was even there. The kitchen was a stove with a bright light bulb shining on it off to the side. It took the girl from behind the bar quite a while to come take our drink order, we ordered two of their crafted cocktails. While she was making them with her bare hands she also touched the money in the tip jar, kept raking her hands through her hair because she was sweating, and was eating the melon balls she made as she was skewering them for our drinks. It was totally disgusting. Thank God the drinks tasted so horrible we couldn't drink them because I'm not sure if the mezcal would have killed all the germs. But they were awful. I ordered sparkling water. She then went (still never washed her hands and kept running them through her sweaty hair) and started assembling a type of bruschetta then brought that over....um, pass. We each ordered a steak entree, my husband the ribeye and I had the filet. His was so tough he literally could not cut through it and my (very, very tiny) filet was riddled with fat and gristle. It was an awful dining experience, a true disappointment as it was to be the highlight of our weekend. I expected to see a "chef", not a guy in a tank top with arm openings down to his waist, cooking our food. When we left we found a ton of restaurants down the street PACKED with people...had we seen that first it would have been a clue. So now we go back to San Pancho to explore all the other restaurants.

Amazing chef!! So lucky to find this nice place open for dinner before the season really begins. The best falafel I've had in a long time!! Super nice couple creating a great business!!

As someone who lives in San Pancho, I say, that there are a lot of restaurants that are just fine - and then there is Mexotic... for when you want something beyond the "same old, same old"...

Fabulous and well presented dishes. The Avocado cheese cake and Avocado Mousse were outstanding.
