Al Chimichurri

We ate a lot of good food in Puerto Morelos, but we found Al Chimichurri to be the best! We ate dinner here on our last night and wished we had discovered it earlier. From beginning to end, every bite was perfect, starting with bread and delicious garlic butter, chimichurri sauce with hints of orange peel and habanero salsa that we put on everything. We ordered empanada (manchego and olive, ham and cheese, and corn) each was flaky and delicious and extra good with more of the sauces. The hawaiian pizza was toasty, had fresh pineapple, handmade crust, and tasted wood-fired (could be), then we had flank steak with french fries and a little salad. The salad dressing was flavorful, the fries were crispy and tender, the steak amazing (more sauces)--there was so much of it, we gave the leftovers to a young stray dog waiting patiently around the corner--to the delight of our kids. Our children rated the restaurant 10 out of 5 stars and would have been happy to eat there every meal. The mojito and the recommended malbec went perfectly with everything. The waiter, a young man who once lived in Belgium, was attentive but not pushy, made good suggestions, and entertained us all. It was a beautiful night, the street was fun to watch, we sat under the awning (they offered mosquito repellent and we weren't bothered at all), but the interior of the restaurant was stylish and welcoming. We went early (school-aged kids), but the restaurant was getting busy by the time we left. We bonded with tables nearby over how satisfied we were with the food--diehard fans unite! We found it affordable and would've gladly paid more for this delicious meal here or at home! I honestly would look forward to a trip back to PM just to eat at this restaurant.

Me gustaron la pasta y empanadas que comì. Es un ambiente natural con terraza. Los precios son un poco elevados.

Excelente comida y excelente ambiente. La pizza estaba deliciosa. La mezcla de sabores se degusta de principio a fin, y el agregado extra de que está hecha al horno, la hace una pizza única. La lasaña también estaba increíble y muy llenadora; Si tienes mucha hambre, una pizza + lasaña para dos personas está perfecto.

Siempre cumple mis expectativas, recomiendo ampliamente las pizzas, el bife de chorizo, las empanadas y el vino Michel Torino

Excelente atención, la comida con buen sabor. Lugar recomendable! Buen detalle de tener repelente contra mosquitos en cada mesa.
